Rich clay-limestone soils, which provides good capacity for exchange with the plants. The climate is Mediterranean, with Atlantic influence and great temperature variation. The vineyard is on a south- facing slope with excellent exposure to the sun and good drainage, which contributes to the balance of the vines and subsequent small productions. The grapes are concentrated and have acidity potential that produces fresh wines with longevity.
It’s a Pinot Noir from a moderately cold climate, with a good texture and balance, rich, complex and deep aromas of fresh herbs. Notes of mushrooms, red berries and pepper. A good balance of freshness, volume that is delicate and exuberant.
100% Pinot Noir, manually picked and put into small 12 kg boxes.
Grapes picked when the conditions are right for perfect balance between ripeness and acidity. Clusters are selected and transported by gravity to closed stainless steel vats where they are submitted to four days of chilled maceration and ten days of fermentation. Aged for ten months in 225 liter French oak barrels from various coopers.
