Rich, clay-limestone soils, with good capacity for exchange with the plants. Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence, big temperature variation, full sun exposure of the south facing vineyard. It is planted on a slope with optimum drainage, contributing to the balance of the vines and subsequent small productions. The grapes are concentrated and have acidity potential which produces fresh wines with longevity.
Dark red color with aromas of ripe fruit, complex. On the palate it’s well-structured, marked by tannins, though well integrated with a good balance and long finish.
Syrah, Aragonez and Touriga Nacional.
Grapes are cooled with fermentation in open stainless steel tanks with treading, temperature up to 26º C after pellicular maceration.
